2008 IFIP Conference on Wireless Sensor and Actor Networks
July 14th to 15th, 2008
School of information Technology and Engineering, University of Ottawa
Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

The 2008 IFIP Conference on Wireless Sensors and Actor Networks (WSAN 08) will
be held from Monday, July 14th, to Tuesday, July 15th, 2008, at the School of
Information Technology and Engineering of University Ottawa, in Ottawa,
Ontario, Canada. Ottawa is Canada's national capital, and features a wealth of
festivals and cultural activities. It is directly accessible by air from major
cities around the world. The conference location is in the city centre,
conveniently located near shopping, museums, and public transportation.

Previously unpublished contributions describing original, completed or on-going
research are solicited, including (but not limited to) the following areas:

Accepted papers will appear in the conference proceeding published by Springer.
Selected papers will be considered for publication in a Special Issue of Ad Hoc
and Sensor Wireless Network journal. Awards will also be given for the best
paper, and the best student paper.
